ABOUT US

Established by a local grazing family in 2002, Sugarbag Qld provides a range of services to North Queensland to assist in the movement and marketing of cattle. Based on the family property south west of Mt Garnet, Sugarbag Qld is managed by eldest son Brian in conjunction with his father Robert.  

Brian is a registered live exporter (licence number 575).  He gained first class honours in Bachelor of Business (Agribusiness) at University of Queensland, with studies in the Live Export Sector.  Brian is very confident in the technology of NLIS tags and the relevant transfer procedures.  He believes in keeping up with all modern technology resources the agribusiness sector has to offer.

Brian has extensive experience working livestock, including work on live export boats.  He is very competent on a large range of heavy machinery, and holds a road train licence.

He is also a talented horse rider, with success in the showjumping and polocrosse fields.
