Sugarbag Qld has some new, innovative and exciting facilities on offer to the Live Export Industry.

Sugarbag Qld is focused on increasing animal welfare conditions, limit environmental impacts, whilst increasing the speed of loading export vessels.

Mourilyan Harbour Loading Facility is located on the wharf of Mourilyan Harbour, just outside of the township of Innisfail. Mourilyan Harbour is a natural deep water port capable of accommodating the largest Livestock Vessels up to 20000 head. The Loading Facility itself is an undercover yard where up to 1500 head of cattle can be unloaded waiting for the export vessel, whilst trucks continue on their way for more cattle. Large effluent tanks underneath the facility ensure a zero effluent discharge into the environment. The effluent is collected and then used as an organic fertilizer to local banana growers.

Sugarbag Yards, located 30km SW of Mount Garnet, is within 2 driving hours of the Mourilyan Harbour. Large mobs of cattle, goats and sheep can be held and prepared in these AQIS accredited yards. It is a 10000 SCU registered feedlot. For more information
